Our Mission
Brokers Gallery (BBAGB) exists to support and develop the professional practice of artists and creatives in San Diego and the greater border region. We provide an educational, institutional, yet approachable space where emerging and established creatives can grow through mentorship, exhibition opportunities, and community engagement.
Our programs are facilitated by a team of practicing artists, creative professionals, and entrepreneurs with advanced training in fields including Art History, Curatorial Studies, Art Therapy, Education, Life Coaching, Project Management, and Portfolio Development. Through this expertise, we guide artists at every stage of their journey toward sustainable, confident creative careers.
As a community-driven arts organization, we prioritize accessibility and inclusivity. We are committed to serving artists from all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds. A significant portion of our programming is dedicated to up-and-coming artists from San Diego, Imperial Valley, and Baja California, offering them opportunities to participate in curated exhibitions alongside nationally and internationally exhibited artists and local educators.
We do not take commission from artists who exhibit and sell through our gallery. Instead, we work to secure funding through public agencies, foundations, and grant organizations in order to:

Our Vision
Brokers Gallery envisions a thriving, self-sustaining creative ecosystem in Downtown San Diego and beyond — one in which artists, musicians, writers, dancers, and cultural workers are empowered to build meaningful, financially viable creative lives.
We believe that creativity should not be limited by economic barriers. Through paid concerts, exhibitions, educational programs, and professional development, we actively create pathways for artists to earn income from their work and expand their audiences.
